Reviews of Mangapapa Hotel

Thomas
Stayed here for 3 nights during a road trip from Auckland to Wellington. Of the six different places we stayed, all four agreed Mangapapa had the best beds - like floating on a cloud, best ambiance - immaculate gardens, best rooms - large, spacious & clean. The service from Emily and her team was exceptional. Mangapapa deserves to be rated six stars.
Strongly recommend this hotel.

Room was large and met every demand. This place is perfect to stay if you visit splash planet. It is really close to the airport.

The bar is the heart of the hotel, perfect for relaxing by the fire with a glass of wine. The hot breakfast with fresh eggs was delicious. The spa facilities were great for relaxation.
What a shame the grounds weren't more exciting, just a boring old sheep farm to look at.

We had a great time at this peaceful hotel in Hawke's Bay. The hotel facilities were in top condition, and the staff was incredibly friendly. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast with fresh fruits while admiring the hotel's garden. Transportation was not a problem since there was adequate parking space available. This city had breathtaking landscapes and was located on the outskirts of Havelock North.
Couldn't find any faults at all.

Great facilities and convenient location. The room was spacious and clean with a comfortable bed. The bathroom was stunning with modern fixtures and a huge tub. The hotel breakfast was incredible, with a great variety of tasty options.
The staff lacked friendliness and didn't seem interested in providing a great customer service experience. Our room had a bad smell and even after notifying the staff about it, they didn't offer to change rooms or do anything to resolve the issue.

Beautiful surroundings & delicious food
We recently stayed in a hotel near a number of excellent wineries and a short drive to the Art Deco centre. The hotel boasts beautiful surroundings with well-manicured gardens and stylishly decorated homestead. The location offered the perfect opportunity to explore the local towns and vineyards during our downtime. The food was simply delicious, top-notch chef and a great range of wines. We were able to indulge in the variety of appetizing meals served both in the restaurant and bar menu.
The downside of our stay was the limited TV channels which did not provide a good opportunity to keep ourselves entertained indoors. the prices of some items, such as drinks, were quite pricey, which made it difficult to enjoy some luxuries.
